What crops can expect to find the first week? We will send out a comprehensive by Monday, June 7th, but you can expect to find lots of leafy greens for the first pickup up like chard, kale, collards and lettuce as well as garlic scapes, green garlic, radishes, hakurei turnips, broccoli, peas and snap beans. That is not an extensive list.
I order eggs? If you signed up an egg share we ask that you take 1 dz every week or every other week depending on what you signed up for. We receive the same number of eggs weekly from Coulter Farms in Juniata County, Pa. Because we are a local distributor generally we cannot be flexible and allow for folks to pick up 3 or 4 dz at a time. Eggs will be in a cooler. If you cannot find them please ask.
Pick Up Procedures There is no rush!!! We pack more than enough produce for everyone and stay for 30 minutes after the time window closes. When items are limited, we don't put them all out at once but periodically throughout the pick-up window. We will sign you in upon arriving to keep track of when you pick up.
