The 2021 CSA will include two seasons, each 12 weeks, fall and summer. The summer season begins the second week of June.
You choose what you want from our market stand.
A full share: 8 vegetable items (we define the quantities) and 2 fruit items
A half share: 4 vegetable items and 1 fruit item
FULL SHARES are appropriate for a family of 2-5; HALF SHARES will feed a family of 1-3. Ranges depend on how much a family cooks and how many veggies they like to eat.
Pick Up Locations for the 2021 Season
Come prepared with a bag of your own. We will let you know in the newsletter and upon arrival what is available.
COVID Precautions:
We will be practicing social distancing and enforcing mandatory mask and "take what you touch" protocols, but members will continue to be able to choose what they prefer, and CSA representatives will be present to assist. We can also provide drive-through services for those practicing more stringent social distancing. Before arrival, let us know what you want, and we will prepare your bag.
How is our CSA different?
We never box. You choose what you want from our grocery-style CSA!!! We offer credit for missed pick-up days in the form of fresh produce and will pro-rate the cost of a share if you know ahead of time that you will not be able to pick up for a certain number of weeks. Choice and flexibility are our goals.
Expected quantities for each item are listed on Our Produce Page. For each CSA, we set up what is available, and you select what you want from our offerings. In addition to traditional vegetables, we also grow ones native to Southeast Asia such as Thai basil and lemongrass.
Where does the fruit come from?
We partner with Three Springs Fruit Farm in Adams County, Pennsylvania to bring a variety of tree fruit throughout the season. Three Springs Fruit Farm is a Food Alliance Certified farm, which means they use advanced Integrated Pest Management strategies to reduce pesticide and fungicide use. We also partner with Cinnamon Tree Organics to provide rich flavored single source spices from Sri Lanka. Strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and melons are grown on the farm.
