Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a fantastic way to support a local farm while getting the freshest organic produce available!

Members pay us a lump sum at the beginning of the year which we invest in seeds, soil, and equipment. When produce is ready, members receive our produce every week throughout the season. Unlike other CSA models, we do not pre-pack boxes of produce based on what is available. We display our produce and members choose what they like from that week's selection. We aim to provide CSA members with lots of choice and flexibility in order to maximize happiness and minimize waste!

We currently have three pickup options: The Farm at Our House Pickup, Silver Spring Market Pickup and Crystal City Market Pickup.

At The Farm at Our House (Wednesdays, 4-9pm, May-Nov., 19715 Zion Rd. Brookeville, MD 20833), you'll have your choice of 9 items from the selection of produce we've put on display each week at our CSA pickup tent on the farm. Our 25-week on-farm pickup season is split into three sessions, spring ($240), summer ($300), and fall ($210). You have the option of joining just one, two, or all of the sessions. When you visit the farm, you're welcome to check out the progress of the crops, visit the chickens, and chat with us about the farm or pick our brains about how to best prepare the veggies. Farm pickup members will also be given the option to add fruit or eggs onto their shares (more information will be available by May).

At the Silver Spring Market Pickup (Saturdays 9-1, May-Dec., corner of Ellsworth & Georgia Ave.) and Crystal City Market Pickup (Tuesdays 3-7pm, May 1-Nov 20), you'll have a full market experience, can visit the market's other vendors, and choose whatever catches your eye that week. You can choose to join our market pickup at the $450, $600, or $750 level, and have flexibility for when and how to use your CSA member credit. Using a debit system, our members walk away from the stand with delicious organic vegetables and never open their wallets.

Pick-Your-Own Produce for all Members
All CSA members are welcome to the farm two days a week for pick-your-own produce from our ongoing you-pick list, which usually includes 3-6 items seasonally abundant crops like snap beans, flowers, herbs, or cherry tomatoes.

Member Events
Our CSA members are invited to the farm for two special events, our farm tour day in May and our Member Appreciation potluck at the end of the season.

Volunteering
Members are not required to volunteer, but are welcome to! We offer a $50 rebate for members who volunteer 20 or more hours on the farm.
